Giles has been in the wine business for more than 30 years. He started his career at Harrods before moving on to several other leading merchants and brokers, including Laithwaites, Fine and Rare, and Laytons.
For the last decade, he's focused his attention on writing and is a regular columnist and blogger, recently joining the Velvet roster. Passionate about all wines, he has a particularly soft spot for Champagne, Rioja, Bordeaux, and Madeira.
He is judging Pub/Bar of the Year.
