Garry & Chelsea

Garry and Chelsea are two of the most well-known voices across Kent and Medway. The hosts of kmfm's Breakfast Show, the duo wake up the county every weekday from 6am. Chelsea originally trained as an actress and has had an eclectic career made up of music videos, commercials, theatre and TV for the BBC and Sky. She also has considerable experience in the food and wellness sector. Originally from the West Midlands now based down South, Chelsea is a huge foodie with eclectic tastes thanks to her travels to over 30 countries. She is a veggie but all about the flavour, and has a massive sweet tooth.

For the past decade Garry has spent his mornings alongside the people of Kent, taking their calls, sharing their ups and downs and bringing them the quirkiest stories - and the best tunes. Plus, trying to give away huge prizes and loads of cash.

"As someone who shares breakfast with thousands of people across the county every week and as someone who's welcomed people to hundreds of events and venues over the years I like to think I know a bit about hospitality," says Garry.

"Plus, as someone who gets up in the middle of the night and regularly tucks into curry, lasagne and stir fry when everyone else is getting stuck into Frosties I have a unique view on the world of food! I can't wait to salute Kent's Food Heroes."
