Aaron is the MD at Café Nucleus, an award-winning collection of café restaurants in Chatham, Rochester and now Rainham. Schooled in Rochester, Aaron has a background in marketing and has been heading up Café Nucleus for 12 years, growing it from one outlet to four with nearly 70 members of staff. Café Nucleus supports the charitable works of the Halpern Charitable Foundation and has been instrumental in the redevelopment of Medway, often opening outlets in locations many national brands wouldn't. A keen foodie, Aaron believes that whatever we eat or drink needs to be from traceable origins. This is backed up by the Café Nucleus philosophy of knowing where every single ingredient is from. Working with nearly 60 Kent-based suppliers and farms, Café Nucleus continues to buck the trend by ensuring every aspect of the supply chain is fairly paid.
Aaron will be judging the Street Food / Pop Up of the Year category
