Joseph Diamond arrived in Lymington in 1856 to set up his workshop in Avenue Road opposite The Borough Arms. There he ran his business as a cart and wagon builder, wheelwright and undertaker. Before the turn of the century, he moved to larger premises at nearby 9 Lower Buckland Road; Son Charles took over in 1920, manufacturing all manner of commercial and private horse-drawn vehicles. To this day Diamond & Son continues to serve local families. We are the longest-serving funeral directors in Lymington, serving Lymington, Beaulieu, Brockenhurst, Sway, Milford on Sea and the surrounding areas.
Whitehead-Ross Education is an education and social welfare organisation. Founded in 2012, we deliver a variety of high-quality skills-related programmes and social services provision. Our programmes include support for unemployed individuals to retrain and secure jobs, vocational training programmes, adult education, and social services provision. Between 1st August 2023 and 30th July 2024, we supported a total of 5,344 participants. Since we started in 2012, we have now supported 16,837 individuals. Our existing clients include local authorities, the Department for Work and Pensions, and Education & Skills Funding Agency.

Hampshire Fare is a small team making a big difference, by championing local produce to consumers and trade businesses. The aim is to inspire residents to discover the abundance of produce available on the doorstep, including cheese, charcuterie and cider, and establish Hampshire as a top foodie destination. This is achieved through facilitating events, opportunities, publicity, and having a voice with local and national organisations. The intention is to encourage members' development, inform the public and educate the next generation.
Launched nine years ago the Lymington Seafood Festival has gone on to scoop awards with Muddy Stilettos, Hampshire Street Food and New Forest Brilliance in Business. It’s now established as one of the south coast's leading foodie events attracting around 14,000 every year, crammed with incredible street food, chef demonstrations, drinks masterclasses and a cookery school.
