When and where is the ceremony?

23rd April 2025 at the Corn Exchange, King’s Lynn

Will tickets be available to purchase for these awards?

No, successful nominees and their families and friends only will be invited to the event by the BCKL&WN team.

Is there a limit to how many people we can nominate?

No there is no limit.

By local, how local do you mean?

The nominee must live or work within the West Norfolk borough.

When is the deadline for nominations?

Friday 23rd February

I am not able to nominate online, how else can I do this?

Please telephone or call into the Your Local Paper office in King Street and the team will assist you or we can post out the appropriate nomination form.

How will the winners be chosen?

A judging panel from BCKL&WN, Your Local Paper and Discover King’s Lynn will judge the nominations in early March.

How will the nominees know if they have been chosen as finalists?

A member of the Your Local Paper team will contact all finalists after judging has been done.

Is there an age limit for nominees?

Only on the “Young Person of the Year Award” this is up to 18 years.

Can I nominate myself?

No, self nominations are not accepted.
