Do you know a star teacher?
The Bury Free Press is on the lookout for the area's top teacher. He or she might be a teacher, a headteacher or a teaching assistant - but whatever position they hold, they will be making a difference to the lives of our young people in the classroom.
He or she may go the extra mile with a reception class, be helping children with specific learning difficulties to achieve something special or be inspiring our A-level students to access top spots at the UK's top universities.
It's the first time we have run the contest, so we need your help.
Please complete the online form, telling us why he or she deserves extra recognition and for his his or her actions to be shared with a wider audience.
The Bury Free Press will feature some of these stories in the run-up to announcing the winner in early December. We'll present our star teacher with a certificate and some prizes to use back in the classroom - plus a bottle of something fizzy to enjoy at Christmas.
So if you know someone who is deserving of a pat on the back, get your nomination in now. Anyone can nominate - teachers, heads, pupils or parents - we welcome all entries.
Closing date for receipt of nominations is Friday, November 1.
